Lake Gaston Water Levels
FROM THE LGA:
Dominion has notified the LGA that Kerr Reservoir has shifted to flood operations due to higher than anticipated inflows. Currently at 200.7 feet, Lake Gaston’s water level will rise to a peak of 202 feet over the next 24 hours and then return to about 200.7 feet.
At 202 feet, most if not all docks will be under water. Please ensure that boats are high in lifts or securely tied if not in a lift. Also ensure that anything sitting on your docks or on the floor of your boat house shed are either removed or securely tied down – especially important for canoes, paddle boats, deck chairs, umbrellas, etc. You are encouraged to check your neighbors’ boat houses if they are not at the lake.
